Kristen: Mr Rob Thomas, I am so excited to have you here, thank you for being here. Um, obviously there has been a lot of talk of the show lately, so can you say without a shadow of a doubt that at this point the show is not canceled?

RT: I can say with absolute certainty that at this point it has not been canceled.

KV: That makes me so happy.

RT: Yeah. That makes me happy. We're go in to pitch our season four to the network next week, they haven't seen their pilot. I think we have a fighting shot.

[Kristen asks a question about L/V (the number one question asked), bringing up the spoilers about Veronica shutting Logan out of her life for good]

RT: Yes, Veronica does in fact tell Logan that. (KV gasps) I'm not saying that's the final note that they end on, they end on a moment that I think is glorious, really one of my favorite moments of the history of the series.

[Season finale question, addressing all the rumors and spoilers and some truth is needed]

[RT confirms "The Bitch is Back" as the title]

RT: She certainly ends the season on a note of discontent.

KV: Interesting. So basically, the fans are going to need years and years of therapy (RT laughs) if the show does not return.

RT: These final five episodes, they're our experiment with standalone episodes, so there is no big, overarching mystery, though you'll see in the final couple of episodes that we've certainly open up a huge can of worms to deal with in season four, assuming we'll be back. It's a finale that'll leave fans wanting more.

KV: Anything you want to say to the fans before we head out?

RT: Um, we're still alive, we're still kicking. Uh, certainly the decisions will be made in two weeks, three weeks, so if you have a desire to send postcards, or fly banners over the CW headquarters, now is the time.
