Like somebody mentioned on TWoP. Hannah/Logan wasn't originally about attraction and Logan had no serious intentions with her. But by the last episode of their arc he was committed to her and wanted something real. I know not everyone thinks so but that's what I saw and I think they would have stayed together if she hadn't been booted from Neptune (not indefinitely but for a fair while).
I think it's going to be similar with Piz. She starts out just settling and trying something new and then she realizes being with a good guy is so much easier and he's so much more dependable etc. It gets serious. Obviously, it gets serious pretty quickly since she's having sex with him before the credits in episode nineteen. Everything they've told us about her character says she doesn't do casual sex and she doesn't take it lightly. I just, really, really think that we're going to get rapid jumps through their intimacy.
The only reason I think Logan is still in the shadows at the moment on the show is because they are saving her big "decision" for the final episode. They think we're all waiting in anticipation for who she'll choose and that's the arc of the final five: Logan or Piz? (And I just love how they don't even acknowledge it's a square, not a triangle, way to point out how blatant the contrivance of LP was.) I feel like a major part of Veronica's character growth will be trusting Piz, opening up to Piz and finally cutting herself off from an unhealthy dynamic with Logan. This will be shown to be a good thing and a positive step in her life. The worst thing? I think most viewers will agree.
It really galls me that Piz is so popular on VM now. He's such a teen soap character and we know next to nothing about him. The show has become teen soap shallow. Where happy and fluffy is good as long as it doesn't involve LV. I mean, it's not even a bad thing and he's not a bad character - he's nice - I've just never felt that he fit the concept of the show or Veronica. Veronica is not nice and I hate that they set it up like she deserves someone way nicer than her and Logan is STILL the bad guy even though she's just as bad as him. When is she going to realize she's just as vindictive - if not moreso - than he is nowdays?
It annoys me whenever people say she deserves to be happy blahblah because Piz doesn't deserve her. Piz deserves someone as giving and happy and normal as he is. It's kind of selfish to believe Veronica deserves to be in a relationship in which she's the only one with issues or a tumultuous history, like she deserves to be worshipped or something. It's her whole life story - it's her world, everyone else just lives in it. She'll take and take his support and not have to give anything back because he doesn't need support. He has no issues. He deserves to be with someone who has no issues and is on the same wavelength as him but she's going to use up his goodness and keep him in her darkness even though he's a character of light. Veronica needs to be with someone that pushes her and needs her because she has to learn to freakin' give something back other than her spy skills.
But he has become popular, IMO. I can't go back to TwoP now because there are "die, Logan, die" posts that just make me
