Because they wanted to contrive a sextape storyline to sexually humiliate Veronica one last time? Come on, it's like a game now to the writers!

Seriously, if Logan did this I wouldn't blink because it makes sense with his character. I'd probably roll my eyes because we saw that doesn't satisfy him any more, but I wouldn't cry foul with the characterisation. But Veronica going from tentative handholding, to having sex with Piz in ONE episode . . . . hmmm. No.

What is this character growth KB spoke of? That Veronica is capable of jumping into sexual relationships now? When every other relationship had a waiting period? When she seemed like quite a prude when she was with Logan? (Granted, that's probably because KB had very stiff body language with JD in those bedroom scenes, and that's not necessarily the fault of the writers, perhaps she was meant to look into him)

Meh. I hope she has fun with Piz. I wouldn't be surprised if it was portrayed as the best sex ever. I'm still shaking my head over the character continuity though. Episode nineteen is big with the happy Piz/Veronica stuff going by sources - they have more than one cutesy/happy scene before Logan pounds Piz's ass (which would explain why she gets so angry because she's on a post-great-sex/relationship high).

Honestly, it's the speed of the Piz/Veronica hookup that makes me doubt any positive spin to the tail end of LV. All the momentum in the season finale is with Piz/Veronica if they have all those cutesy and passionate moments (a sex scene not just post-coital snuggling). It would make no sense to spin that around or even to have them break up in my mind because there just doesn't seem to be a reason for it. She's happy with him, he's happy with her, they're having good sex - and Piz had nothing to do with the sextape. Everything, aside from the humiliation, is golden. None of what's wrong is Piz's fault. Plus, if they do have other plots going on, including the MoTW and a Wallace storyline, I just don't see how they'd have the time or inclination to fix anything.

It might very well be true that V telling Logan to get out of her life is not meant to be the end point of their relationship, but I fear it's the end we'll get (save for Logan beating up someone else and apologizing to Piz - effectively handing Veronica over to the good guy who deserves her). The ratings and quality of the show don't warrant renewal and I see no reason why it would be renewed based on the ratings they've had for these two episodes - very, very bad.

Basically, I just want one person to stick by Logan. Someone other than Dick because when you have Dick's good opinion it doesn't count for much, he's a potential date rapist and an asshole. I wouldn't mind if it was Keith, Weevil or Mac saying that Logan was protecting V. I could see both Keith and Weevil saying that they would have done the same thing if they could (it's hard to imagine Keith seeing it as a bad thing that Logan is protecting her even if he is the sheriff). I wouldn't mind Mac saying it's hardly the worst thing he's ever done. I just want to know someone had his back since Parker has left him and there's basically no one left once V gives him the flick.

He's only an "also starring" in the last episode though so I seriously doubt they'll give his storyline much reflection.
