I hope it's Logan too because it would live up to all the foreshadowing. It would be a gesture that I could see Logan making that Duncan might be too hesitant to do. It sets him apart and it would really show Veronica that he isn't just a vat of wit - he really does mean what he says when he tells her he loves her. I have heard that there are spoilers indicating it's probably Keith - but I think in terms of foreshadowing there are more hints that Logan will be the one featured in a stand off with a gun.

This show LOVES to foreshadow end results - just think of Chardo/Caitlin foreshadowing Weevil/Lilly or Mac's fake interest in Butters (Ahoy Mateys!) foreshadowing his real interest in her. Or Weevil's comment to Logan that they have to keep their investigation secret if he doesn't want to be some bald guy who rides the bus - only for his prediction to come true. It happens all the time, the trick is sorting out the red herrings from the true prophecies.

Logan and Veronica were shot at in Normal is the Watchword. Logan was holding a gun in Driver Ed and there was a lot of talk in this episode of aiming for the head or the heart to bring a man down from Big Dick. The most obvious is of course the scenes from Ahoy Mateys! where he defends Veronica with an empty gun only for her to tell him 'you're going to get yourself killed'. Later on a couple of PCHers play Russian Roulette with an almost empty gun - as Logan dangles in the balance of fate - a one in six chance he doesn't get shot. An empty gun is a powerful metaphor if you think about it - empty guns are pretty useless things - it's an illusion of power that actually represents true weakness.

Because he's been the character we've seen most in connection with guns all season, I do hope it's him that gets shot. It would feel like inevitability and would be especially sad because Logan's life finally seems to be getting better again. Remember what happened the last time Logan's life started getting better? He was accused of two separate murders he didn't commit and a rape - and his life went down the toiler from there. The sudden peace in his life makes me very nervous.

Plus, I think JD would rock those scenes, especially if he played them with KB. He was brilliant in the Russian Roulette scene I can only imagine how much he'd terrify me if Logan actually was shot.

The only victim out of the three that i think would be bad for the show is if Veronica was shot. I think that would cause her to retreat even further from the bas ass P.I. she used to be, take her further away from Logan and make Keith even more forbidding about her P.I. ways and insanely protective. I don't think Keith or Logan would handle it well. Keith getting shot will precipitate a brilliant shaken performance from KB (and I'd love some Logan comforting) but the victim who'd be best is undoubtedly Logan.

I feel like I need to hug him to show him I don't actually want to agree with RT that torturing the poor guy is fun. I don't want you hurt, Logan; I just want Veronica to nurse you back to full strength
