Is there hope for LoVe?

Posts: 230 (04/26/06 08:23:04) LoVe Addicted Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Seeing as I live in NY, I have to wait until Sunday to see last night's episode That being said, for those of you who were lucky enough to see the episode, do you think there's hope for LoVe? Was there any indication that Logan did in fact sleep with Kendall? Or could it be, like some have speculated, that nothing happened. Could Kendall for some reason want it to appear that they've done the deed? I'm holding out hope that Logan did call Kendall, but by the time she showed up he was passed out already. Or he didn't call her, she just came by & before anything happened he passed out. Or I'm willing to believe she drugged him & then made it appear that they had slept together. Any thoughts by those who have seen yesterday's episode would be great.

There's evidence of so much good L/V stuff happening in the finale, that things have to get better. We know in the graduation scene from the season finale, when Veronica is on stage Logan is directed to smile and cheer, though the type of smile wasn't specified. If there's nothing romantic going on at this point, there would be no need to give this type of direction. Also, we know that he cooks her breakfast, which means there has to be something good that happens in episode 21 or 22 to get to this point. After last night's episode, if the situation remained the same, can you ever imagine Veronica letting Logan cook her breakfast? Also, we have that dream sequence where Lilly's still alive, but she's still dating Logan in the dream. Seems like her subconscious is letting her know that no matter the situation, she was always meant to be with Logan, not Duncan. This is the closest the show has ever come to letting viewers know that Logan/Veronica is the OTP of the show and formally negates the possibility that DUncan/Veronica are the "it" couple (like we didn't already know that). All this evidence indicates that Veronica/Logan must be in a much better place by at least the middle of the season finale. How they get there? I have absolutely no idea, but my guess is something big has to happen in the next episode in order to facilitate those events. Plus, the Logan/Veronica scenes were so monumental last night, that it would make no sense for that to be the end. Logan basically called Veronica the love of his life, and Veronica clearly showed she has deep feelings for Logan. We still have 2 episodes left. If last night was meant to indicate the end of L/V or the end of what we'll get for the season, they would have done it in the season finale.

Come on, lets be honest, do you really think that all those ppl who love this show, its because all the mystery and stuff ????? NOOO... its all about LoVe , and RT is tired of knowing that ... he's not blindddddd !

I guess Buttacup at TwoP who has seen the finale or read the script or something to that extent revealed it. But he won't specifiy what their relationship is at this point. And again, if there was no relationship there would be need for such secrecy.

Or I'm rounding up my cousins from the hills (as hill-billies) and we're going hunting for some LoVe killers. Souuuuuuuuuuuuuuwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Run, RT. Run. Kidding. Mostly. Well, I'll send many angry protesting letters, anyway. But I really do think there's hope for LoVe. A lot, actually. Because while keeping the audiance dangling is a good way to keep up ratings, eventually the couple in question must get together. Or people will get annoyed and stop watching. clears throat And RT isn't stupid, no matter how good his impression has been of it lately. I mean, he gave VD VD! So I know he'll wise up and have LoVe love by at least mid-way next season, if nothing else. And in the mean time, I don't see us having to deal more VD (of the ship-wreak varity, I mean) so no worries til then! And I think that we'll at least get one kiss before the season is over. At the very least. So keep hope alive!

However, if history serves, there will not be immediete answers as to the status of their relationship. For example, after the memorable "Sway" dance we expected things to be a little different between them but nothing big actually happened, except for a little playful banter. Eventually, events will change this, of course, but as for now, I think Veronica will avoid Logan and if Logan tries to confront Veronica, she will be cold with him. But I do see them eventually getting back together. Each of their declarations of love couldn't possibly be for no reason at all. Why would RT put them out there only to mark the end of a relationship. Remember, WOCD...Logan tells Duncan about Veronica's laptop, they kiss and look confused. Logan acts like it never happened, and boom! Next episode, in Hot Dogs they are making out! I think it symbolizes the beginning of a bigger, longer, and possibly less strained relationship. However, even if they do get together their will always be that strain, because that is what makes Logan and Veronica's relationship grow, change, and blossom. As much as I love LoVe, I doubt RT would put Logan and Veronica together "on" for more than a few episodes! Please use paragraph breaks.
