Woohoo!! So my friend has some free time now after taking the Bar exam and we were able to get together tonight to finally watch VM as she's been promising. She knew there was one guy I was totally obsessed with but I wouldnt' tell her who. And she knows NOTHING about the show at all.
So we watch the the first ep and she loved it and was like "more!" as soon as it was done. Second episode in after Logan and Weevil discuss Chardo, I told her how I loved how Logan seemed to get the loyalty factor of Weevil taking care of Chardo and she looked at me and said, "please don't tell me it's Logan you love." I said I wasn't going to tell her and then said, "okay, do you really wanna know?" She said she did, so I told her yes and she was mildly disgusted, LOL!
So, third episode comes on and during the bleachers scene, she was like "I'm sorry, but he's not that good-looking. He's just ..." And I just told her to wait and see, he grows on you. Fourth episode is on and when Logan smiles at Veronica at the fountain reveal, my friend conceded, "Okay, he looked cute there."
Then we get to episode five and after the "Wow, you suck at this Nancy Drew stuff" scene and Logan walked away, she said; "Wow. Okay, yeah, he's smooth ... like chocolate." And I said, "Who?" And she said, "Logan. Yeah, that was just a whole lot that happened in just that 30 seconds, yeah." I was good, I kept quiet. Even when she said at one point, "Don't tell me that Veronica hooks up with Logan." LOL!
So finally, she's tired and dragging, but I convince her to watch one more episode, "Return of the Kane." We watch it and as the scene with Logan and homeless vet finishes, I comment what an asshole he is (while smiling because I don't care if he's an asshole, I still love him!) and she goes, "yeah, he's good-looking." And I just looked at her and I was like, "What?" And she said, yeah, "He's smiling there, he's good-looking." And I just grinned and repeated, "Yeah, he grows on you, trust me by the end of the season, he's drop-dead gorgeous."
Then we got the scene with choosing the belt and while she's not totally gone for him (yet!), she's definitely getting there and definitely getting the lure of Logan. She just felt so horrible for him. Alright, when we stopped I told her about how he read for Duncan and UPN said he wasn't pretty enough, her reaction -- and remember, her first response to his looks, was "Eh, he's not good-looking," -- was, after six episodes, "WHAT?!?!"
I laughed and reminded her of what she thought of him in the beginning of the show, and she went, "Ah, well, yeah, I thought he was dorky looking, but yeah, no he's good-looking."
So, yay! She loves the show, loves Veronica and the Logan love is growing. Woohoo!!! And I'm sure she'll eventually LOVE LoVE when it happens!! And I have no doubt that she will definitely be watching it come next season!

I swear I was thinking I was gonna have to disown her. 
She couldn't understand how she "could have raised a daughter that could be attracted to such a jerky boy even if he is good looking"!!!
KB is adorable, I must say. Of course, we know that the male representatives we've polled (Mark, my husband) are likely to agree as well
