I'm just a little confused as to why Mr. Mars would think that Duncan could have killed Logan because he was secretly seeing Madison, when in the earlier chapters there isn't any indication that Logan had a thing for Madison, since he could not even tolerate her. By the way, with the black smoke and all, did Madison go to hell? LOL
You have a pretty good flow going on now, with the whole introduction of the mysteries, that I'm not sure how addressing the attempt rape will fit right now. I think it would have fit better if it was addressed right after it happened. Because right now, its not even on Veronica's mind.
As for Mr. Mars suspecting Duncan.... I don't have a good enough reason that I can mention right now. Hopefully later on I can try and clarify it if it still needs to be clarified. Lol and as for the black smoke, that's how it's described in the book, so I wanted to stay true to that because it becomes important later on.
Here's an idea on the attempted rape. Some people try and put tramatizing events out of there heads. And because Veronica's so wrapped up in this murder mystery, that's what she's done. Maybe I can have Lilly mention it and want to try to talk about it, but Veronica's like no I don't want to even think about it right now, and then maybe later on work it into the story, or I could just have her get it all out when Lilly asks. Maybe it'll work, and maybe it won't. I'll try and work it into the story and see how it comes out.
