Okay might I just say how awesome it is to have this thread? Now I can post all those ideas that pop into my head and hope that one of the many amazing writers will run with it. For I have no talent at all.

Oh and forgive me if this is jumbled I think I took way to many Pamprin........ hehe........

Now on with my idea.

Veronica Mars: Daughter of Keith Mars. Grew up in a small seaside town in Oregon. Cheerleader, Homecoming Queen and all around popular girl. Very interested in her father's business.

Keith Mars: Owner and creator of Mars Intel. A business that creates Special surveillance equipment.
His company receives government contracts on a regular bases. Keith and the President were boyhood friends and remain so to this day.

Wallace Fennel: Veronica's BFF. Son of a late football star. Basketball star and really great guy. His body was found by the school janitorial staff the morning after he won a championship game.


Veronica angered that the local authorities mucked up the crime scene and were unable to follow up leads, labeled Wallace's murderer a cold case file. Took it upon herself to find her friends murderer. After years spent hanging around her dad's office, the secret service, her dad's lab tech's, military operatives and all the rest that made up her father's clientele, she picked up a few tricks. With the knowledge that she had acquired over the years she began to dig deep into Wallace's murder. After months of investigating Veronica uncovered the truth.
The mistress that Wallace's father had kept before his death was trying to blackmail the Fennel family with evidence that the late Mr. Fennel use performance enhancing drugs all through his pro-ball career. After Wallace refused to give into her demands she shot him.
The media soon began to hound the Mars family at every turn, asking Veronica time and time again how she solved the case. And time and time again she refused to comment, telling the police and the D.A. and the jury had been more then enough. Keith sick of the press and media going after Veronica, waiting for at the gates of her family home at school church even the mall relocated his family and headquarters to Neptune. Where his little girl could live in peace. That is until the brother, ex-boyfriend and friends of local murdered girl Lilly Kane asked her to look into her murder.

Timeline: The start of season one. Just after the Mars family moves to Neptune.
