I know that I'm the administrator, but unless a post is listed as ADMIN (or is a little note at the bottom of a post), I'm posting as a poster, not an administrator. If anyone disagrees with me, thinks I'm loony for my opinion, thinks that I could maybe look at it a different way, go for it! Tell me so, treat me like any other poster, because that's what I am in those threads, I'm just another poster. As long as your opinion is presented respectfully per the rules, I would love to hear it. I've certainly had my opinion changed by others pointing out a different point of view. (Ep 2 is a perfect example, I was sick while watching the episode, after reading comments online, I was actually laughing about it.)
I really want this place to be a place for open, respectful discussion and that includes debate. And when I'm posting in threads that are clearly discussion threads, call me out if you disagree as if I were any other poster. I will never use my administrative power against a fellow poster for their opinion, whether they agree or not. I really try to be fair when I'm admin-ing and if someone thinks I'm not being fair, please, please ezmail me and let me know. I may not agree; I may have a reason for doing what I did that you're not aware of, but I will respectfully listen to your comment as long as it's respectfully given to me.
I want to do what's best for this board and its membership. I don't want The LoVe Shack to be a dictatorship, I want it to be a community. I want this board to be a fun, -- although when things aren't going our way couple-wise, it will be a bit of downer understandably -- intelligent place full of discussion, discourse and yes, debate.
