My real name is Margarita. My screen name is really very uninspired and unoriginal. I took the first 3 letters of my first name and spelled it backwards (mar=ram) then I added the last 4 letters of my surname. Very boring, I know!
Tell Us About Yourself - Geographic Locale, job, etc.
I live in Las Vegas, NV. I have been living here for nearly 2 years now. I moved here from New York, which is where I had been living for the prior 6 years (went to college, met my husband, got married, yadda yadda). I finally convinced my husband to move to a cheaper and warmer location (I despise snow)no easy feat considering he is a born and bred New Yorker. But I did, and I am here and happy. I have a rather boring job as a Human Resources Manager for a small management company. Basically my job entails a lot of paperwork and having to listen to a ton of people whine about nothing all day.
What are you doing when you are not obsessing over Veronica Mars?
When am I not obsessing about VM? No, seriously, I did have a life before VM took over. I am a movie buff and usually go to see one every week with my husband on date night. I also have a rather large dvd collection. I have way too many tv shows that I watch. Right now over the summer I have been renting the Buffy series because I never got into it and heard from a lot of people that it was good. So far I am in season 2. I am enjoying it, but it doesnt hold a candle to VM in my opinion. I have two dogs that I adore (a Chihuahua and a Boston Terrier) and I take them to the dog park a lot. I also love to read, but find it hard to find time. And I hang out with my family (parents and 2 sisters) and friends that live here in LV as well.
Favorite Logan Moments?
I absolutely loved Logan in Hot Dogs when he was making fun of Aaron and Trina then he did his yoda impression and dramatically fell backwards on the couch. He was so adorable as he lay there laughing. I adored his Pop Tart scene with Trina as well.
Other notable mentions: All of Logans scenes with Clemmons in The Girl Next Door, in Meet John Smith I love how Logan goes through Duncans backpack as he waits for him to finish in the bathroom and how cute Logan sounded when he said That girl is seriously whacked when he witnessed Veronica pushing Justin into the ladies room. Last but not least, seriously every scene in my beloved An Echolls Family Christmas, especially the shirtless scene (drool).
Favorite Veronica Moments?
I loved the BFF exchange with Wallace, the head movement she made when she referred to Wallace not as her brother but her bru-tha, the oh, stop it with Sherrif Lamb, and I adore it whenever she makes up an alias, especially her school-girl uniform when she invades the computer geek world.
Favorite LoVe Moments?
The first kiss, the moving-on kiss, the bathroom make-out, the teddy-bear exchange conversation on the couch, the friendship bracelet conversation, Logans breakdown in Ruskie Business, the entire scene where Logan asks Veronica on their first official date, the hand holding in ATttD, the shower sex scene.wait a minute, that last one was fanfic!
Favorite Books/Authors?
J.K. Rowling and the Harry Potter series, Sophie Kinsella and the Shopaholic series, Nicholas Sparks, Jane Green, Sarah Mlynowski (especially Milkrun-hilarious), Jodi Picoult, Belva Plain
Favorite Actor/Actresses?
You mean besides Jason Dohring? I like Edward Norton, Mark Ruffalo, Joshua Jackson (I was a huge Pacey fan), Jack Nicholson, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Garner, hmph.I know there are many others, but my brain has currently been taken over by JD.
Favorite TV Shows?
Gosh, Im addicted. But thankfully I am only obsessed with VM. Lets see, I watch Everwood, Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Alias, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Medium, Las Vegas, House, That 70s Show, Scrubs, Smallville, Without A Trace, Greys Anatomy, The Dead Zone, The O.C., 24, oh, and I love The Simpsons and Family Guy!
Favorite Movies?
Wow, way too many to mention. I am a movie fanatic. Lets see, since I am really still a little kid at heart, I adore the PIXAR and Dreamworks animations (like Finding Nemo, Shrek, Shark Tale, etc). I am also a sucker for romantic comedies or chick flicks as my husband likes to refer to them, and can watch them over and over again (one of my all time favorites is When Harry Met Sally). I love comedies as well, big shout-out to Office Space that never fails to make me laugh and Kevin Smith movies.
