There's an interview with JD over at Neptunesite. It contains some spoilers for Season Three, but here are the non-spoilery bits:
Was it annoying to you last season when Logan and Veronica were not together?
No. Not really. Because, dude, the snarkiness doesn't work without the love underneath. It's always there, you know what I mean? It's always been there, because I think the bigger the love there is in the first place, the bigger the break-up is.
So, it's always cool, even when we're playing those scenes where we're against each other, we're always - I'm in love with her.
What did you think of the second season in general?
I mean, just honestly? I didn't like it as much as the first.
At the end of every episode of the first season, I was like "Oh my God, man!" And there was one episode in particular on the second season that I felt that, and I was like "Dude, we gotta do that."
Which one was that?
Where Meg found out she was pregnant at the end, with the Trina and stuff like that, 'cause there were so many twists. Bam, bam, bam. I thought that was f-ckin' cool. I really dug that.
It was a little incoherent from an audience's point of view. Like we jumped around or didn't talk about it for a couple episodes, and then came back to the bus crash.
Do you have any messages for the fans?
Thank you SO much. I can't communicate it. I wish you could hear my voice, because that's where - just from the bottom of my heart, it's f-ckin' awesome. You guys are the reason we're still around, so thank you so much, and we'll continue to do what we're doing.

Interesting that Jason says Logan is always in love with Veronica. I know there was a thread a while back debating whether he was in love with her throughout the second season. I think he might have been about to say "we're always in love" and then changed it to "I'm in love with her."
